2.8 defoamer
It is used to remove foam caused by surfactant in printing and dyeing process. Tributyl phosphate, octanol and so on were used in the past, but now all of them are made up of organolithium.
2.9 Printing Paste and Thickener
Previously, natural size was used, but now it tends to be semi-synthetic or synthetic size, such as starch ether, sodium alginate, etherified sophora bean powder, cellulose ester, polyvinyl alcohol and polyacrylate. The synthetic slurry has high consistency and low dosage, which can make the printing color dark. The chemical structure of the thickener is polyethylene glycol diether or diester or polyacrylate copolymerized by acrylate.
2.10 Adhesive for Printing and Dyeing
Various synthetic latexes such as butadiene, styrene, acrylonitrile, vinyl acetate, vinyl chloride and acrylate copolymers can be used. It requires strong adhesion, good abrasion fastness, soft handle, and not easy to yellowing under high temperature and light. At present, high quality general adhesives are polyacrylate copolymers with self-crosslinking groups and polyurethanes.
