Organosilicon waterproofing agent is an ideal waterproof material for building materials such as concrete, masonry, ceramics and so on. It can be sprayed on the surface of building with solution and emulsion to improve its waterproof, antifouling and dustproof.

Construction Method of Waterproof and Preservative for Wood (Bamboo) Material


1. Treat the surface of wood (bamboo) thoroughly and dry it thoroughly.


The surface of wood (bamboo) is clean and dry. Spraying, coating, immersion and other methods of uniform coating, the surface can be fully absorbed (brushing needs 1 to 2 times, between 2 times should be separated by 5 minutes, the surface can be fully absorbed. The soaking time is within 1 minute. If it needs to be soaked again, it should be done before the surface is completely dry. Dry naturally without damp water.


2. Wood (bamboo) products after curing can achieve the best protection effect after 7 days of drying.


3. The usage per square meter depends on the structural changes of wood such as porosity, dryness and texture. The theoretical consumption varies from 5 to 8 m2/L depending on the material.


Matters needing attention


1. Keep the product sealed and closed. Packing should be sealed after each use so as not to be invalid. It should be used up within 72 hours after opening.


2. Before use, each surface to be treated should be tested and observed at least 24 hours later.


3. The suitable environmental temperature for construction is 10 ~40 C, and the humidity is 50%~80%.


4. High acidity environment is not conducive to product curing. If the base material is cleaned with acid cleaner, the residual acid must be neutralized to neutral in sodium carbonate solution.


5. Contact and cleaning of any harsh chemical may affect its effective life.


6. During the construction process, construction personnel should wear goggles and protective gloves as required. If inhaled carelessly, it should be moved to fresh air immediately. If contact with skin, wash with water immediately for 15 minutes; if contact with eyes inadvertently, wash with water immediately for 15 minutes, and take off contaminated clothes and shoes for timely medical treatment.


Different organosilicon protective agents have different construction requirements. Before construction, practical construction schemes should be formulated according to the use instructions of the protective agents used and the actual situation of the site.
