Open recruitment information for master's degree candidates
The school of science of Jiangnan University has three master's degree awarding points: "mathematics 070100" first level discipline, "optical engineering 080300" first level discipline, "electronic information (optical engineering direction) 085400" professional degree. "Mathematics 070100" level 1 master's degree was approved in March 2018. Since the establishment of "Applied Mathematics" level II master's program in 2006, the conclusion in the national subject evaluation in 2012 is that the main evaluation index is higher than the national average level, and a number of scientific research achievements with international and domestic advanced level have been achieved in mathematics related fields, and a number of specialized talents have been trained. At present, a number of international and domestic advanced scientific research achievements have been made in the fields of photoelectric devices and photovoltaic technology, spectrum technology, optical communication technology, optical information and imaging, and a number of specialized talents have been trained.

The "Mathematics" master's program enrolls master's degree students with a total of 28 tutors, including 9 professors and 19 associate professors; it has Wuxi biological computing engineering technology research center and mathematics and information cross research center, 2 teaching computer (Network) rooms, 3 special laboratories for master's degree students in mathematics, 1 research and innovation Mathematics Laboratory, and the network is equipped with am of American Mathematics Society S Electronic Journal, MathSciNet database, journal database of American Institute of industry and applied mathematics, project Euclid, Ig publishing and other mathematical resource databases. In the past five years, discipline members have presided over more than 60 national, provincial and ministerial level and other vertical projects, more than 20 horizontal projects, with a total funding of more than 15 million, and published more than 300 academic papers, including 150 SCI (E). In the past three years, the first author of postgraduates has published more than 60 papers, including 20 SCI papers. Among the students in the school, many (Times) won the first and second prizes in the graduate mathematics modeling competition. The discipline has trained 73 excellent talents for the Yangtze River Delta Economic Zone, and 100% of graduates have been employed or studied for doctoral degree, which is highly praised by employers.

There are two master's degree programs of "Optical Engineering" level I academic degree and "electronic information (optical engineering direction). The total number of academic echelon is 42, and 31 graduate supervisors (3 doctoral directors). There are four provincial and ministerial platforms. Thanks to the advantages of Wuxi's local economic development and high-tech photoelectric enterprises, the optical engineering specialty has long-term joint training with photoelectric testing institutions and local leading enterprises, and has cooperated with the national solar photovoltaic product quality supervision and inspection center, Wuxi Suntech Solar Power Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Tongming Group Co., Ltd., Wuxi shiyida Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Xinguang Joint Technology Co., Ltd., Wuxi Yuanliang Technology Co., Ltd., Jiangsu testar Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., BOE Technology Group Co., Ltd. and Wuxi Zhongke Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd. jointly cultivate graduate students, and jointly build 9 provincial enterprise graduate workstations. There are 500 square meters super clean laboratories and 50 million yuan worth of instruments and equipment. The training quality has been highly recognized by well-known laboratories and research groups at home and abroad. The proportion of continuing further education has increased year by year. 90% of graduates work in the Yangtze River Delta region, and are welcomed by international leading enterprises such as Finisar, OSRAM, ZTE, Wuxi Suntech, BOE, HP, etc.
