According to the spirit of the Circular of the general office of the Ministry of education on the recruitment of senior high school graduates from Taiwan by ordinary institutions of higher learning according to the results of the subject ability test of university entrance examination in Taiwan (Jiao Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan department Han [2020] No. 1) and other documents, our university continues to recruit senior high school graduates from Taiwan who meet the relevant conditions according to the results of the subject ability test of university entrance examination in Taiwan (hereinafter referred to as the subject test) Life. 01 application conditions
With the residence permit of Taiwan residents or the pass for Taiwan residents to and from the mainland and the valid identity certificate for living in Taiwan, the graduates of Taiwan high school who take part in the academic examination of that year shall meet the following requirements according to their major of application:
1. Chinese, mathematics and English are all above the standard level.
2. Those who apply for the general major of literature and history shall have a social performance above the average standard level.
3. Those who apply for the general science and engineering major shall have a natural score of above the average standard level.
4. Those who apply for the examination of general arts and Sciences and art majors shall have social or natural scores above the average level. To apply for the examination of art majors, you must also participate in the professional assessment organized by the University in accordance with the requirements of the general rules of fine arts and design undergraduate enrollment (Revised Edition) of Jiangnan University in 2020.
02 enrollment major and number of students
Applicants can choose a major as their volunteer in the catalogue of major of enrollment (see Annex 1 for details). The number of students will be determined according to the number of applicants and the specific source of students. 03 application method
The applicant shall provide the following materials:
1. Application form for Jiangnan University to recruit senior high school graduates in Taiwan in 2020 (see Annex 2, hereinafter referred to as the application form);
2. A copy of the residence permit of Taiwan residents or the pass for Taiwan residents to and from the mainland, and a copy of the valid identity certificate of living in Taiwan;
3. Copy of the academic test result notice;
4. Copies of other relevant supporting materials that can reflect the ability level of the applicant;
5. Personal statement (including personal interests, college life and study ideas, future career ideals, reasons for choosing Jiangnan University, etc., within 800 words, signed by myself);
6. Power of attorney for personal performance inquiry signed or sealed by myself (see Annex 3).
Materials in items 1-4 shall be sealed by the middle school where the applicant is located. All materials shall be sent to the enrollment and Employment Office of Jiangnan University before May 5, 2020 (subject to the postmark of the post office where the applicant is located). On the front of the envelope, please indicate "application materials for 2020 Taiwan high school graduates". At the same time, please send the scanned copies of the word version of the application form and the power of attorney for personal performance inquiry to the e-mail address of the recruitment and Employment Office of Jiangnan University in the form of attachment: zhshb@jiangnan.edu.cn, with the subject of the e-mail marked "application form for senior high school graduates in Taiwan in 2020". The school will conduct a preliminary examination of the application materials, and the results of the preliminary examination will be notified separately.
Those who pass the review will enter the interview process, and the interview will be conducted by remote video, and the specific time and arrangement will be released separately. 05 admission method
The school will select the best candidates according to the academic test results and interview conditions of the applicants.
After the admission list is reviewed and approved by the office of general institutions of higher learning of the people's Republic of China for the joint recruitment of overseas Chinese, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan students, the university will issue the admission notice in August 2020. 06 tuition and accommodation
