First, the emulsion needs to be thoroughly stirred before use. Because the uneven emulsion will easily produce stratification, affecting the use of defoamer effect.


Second, try to use thickener to thin. Silicone defoamer can be diluted when used, but at the same time the stability of the defoamer will also be sharply reduced, such as stratification, so it is recommended to use thickener as much as possible when diluting, if the water is diluted, then please add water to the defoamer and slowly stir, and use up the same day.


Third, prevent frost. Silicone defoamer is sensitive to frost and high temperature and is easily destroyed. If the defoamer has been frozen, it must be carefully frosted and tested before use.


Fourth, pay attention to the storage of silicone defoamer. Long-term strong oscillation or strong shearing (such as the use of mechanical pumps, homogenizers, etc.) or stirring will destroy the stability of the defoamer, so pay attention to the storage of silicone defoamer.
