At present, the performance test of textile printing and dyeing defoamer has not yet formed a unified standard at home and abroad, neither national standard (national standard) nor industry standard (line standard), and each enterprise is tested according to its own enterprise standard (enterprise standard). 1. Technical requirements for textile printing and dyeing defoamer
1. Appearance:
Liquid defoamer should be white to yellowish uniform milky liquid; The powder solid defoamer should be a powder with certain fluidity.
2, physical and chemical indicators:
The physicochemical index of textile printing and dyeing defoamer should conform to the preset standard.
Second, textile printing and dyeing defoamer test method
1. Appearance:
Check the appearance of the defoamer by visual inspection.
2, pH value measurement:
Weigh 1g sample (accurate to 0.1mg) in a 100mL volumetric bottle, dilute it with water to the scale, shake well, and measure pH value according to GB/T6368.
3. Centrifugal stability:
The defoamer was centrifuged at 3000r/min for 30min, and its stratification was observed to evaluate its stability.
4. Stability:
The sample of 2g defoamer was diluted 10 times with water in a small test tube and immersed in boiling water for 1 hour to test its thermal stability.
5, non-volatile content:
The method of drying was used. The sample of about 2g (accurate to 0.1mg) was weighed in a clean and constant weight evaporating dish, dried in an oven at 105±2℃ for 3 hours, then taken out, cooled in a dryer for 30 minutes and weighed. The content of non-volatile matter was calculated. The difference between the two parallel measurements should be less than 0.5%. The average value of the two parallel measurements was taken as the test result. It should be noted that the content of non-volatile matter cannot be equivalent to the content of solid and effective matter.
6, foam suppression performance:

Shake bottle method:
By recording the initial foam volume, defoaming half-life, foam volume after 300s, foam volume after re-oscillation and vanishing time, the defoaming efficiency and defoaming efficiency were calculated.
Aerated bubbling method:
The effect of defoaming and defoaming is assessed by measuring the time it takes the foam to fall to the liquid surface and the time it takes the foam to rise again to a specific volume.
Ross-Mile foam method:
The foam height of the foaming solution with and without defoamer was measured using the Roche foam meter to evaluate the foam properties.
Washing machine method:
A drum washing machine with heating was used to evaluate the foam performance of the defoamer.
Each of the above four determination methods has its own focus and can be determined according to the actual application process and the applicable environment.
3. Other performance tests
1, water dispersion:
The water dispersion of defoamer was evaluated by observing its dispersion in water.
2, high temperature resistance (high temperature and high pressure cooking test) :
The defoamer was diluted and cooked in a pressure cooker to observe its high temperature and high pressure resistance and whether there was delamination or oil dripping out.
3, shear resistance (high shear resistance test) :
The defoamer was diluted and heated to a specific temperature, and cut under a high-speed shear for a certain time to observe the oil extraction.
4, electrolyte resistance, acid and alkali resistance, compatibility and consistency:
According to the customer's actual application process and the applicable environment, the contract test can be carried out with reference to the relevant information.
