Silicone sealants are particularly durable under harsh conditions compared to other types of sealants. The common silicone sealant on the market is a condensation type room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber. When such a sealant is vulcanized, small molecular by-products are released. According to the type of by-products, the condensation type room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber can be classified into a type of dealcoholation, deketoxime, deacetic acid, deamidation, and deacetone.
