If defoamer bleach oil, you can see it on the liquid surface, especially for some products with poor quality. You can see bright and clear oil spots on the liquid surface. However, the products with small bleaching oil can not be directly seen by the above methods, and need to be further observed by other methods.

It is also a method to judge whether defoamer bleaches oil after diluent is diluted to a certain concentration. Some defoamers that are not well made can not pass method 1 and method 2. The specific dilution ratio is ninety-nine parts of water for one part of defoamer, and the defoamer concentration of these diluents is 1%. The observation method is the same as method 1. At this time, some products with slight floating oil can not be seen in the original solution, and small oil spots can be seen on the liquid surface in the diluent.

If the ambient temperature is higher than the normal temperature, it is better to warm the defoamer diluent to the required temperature for observation. Some defoamers do not bleach oil after dilution, but bleach oil at the use temperature, which indicates that the defoamer may bleach oil at the use temperature, and problems caused by bleach oil may occur during use.
