What is wetting dispersant used for?


Dispersant is a kind of interfacial active agent which has both hydrophilic and lipophilic properties. It can uniformly disperse the solid particles of inorganic and organic pigments that are difficult to dissolve in the liquid, at the same time, it can prevent the solid particles from settling and agglomerating, and form the medicament needed to stabilize the suspension


A substance that makes a solid material more easily wetted by water. By reducing the surface tension or interfacial tension, water can spread on the surface of solid materials, or penetrate into the surface of solid materials, and wet the solid materials. It is usually some surfactants, such as sulfonated oil, soap, pull powder BX, etc. Soybean lecithin, mercaptans, hydrazides and mercaptan acetals can also be used. Wetting agent is increasingly used in ceramic industry. Generally, a kind of poly oxyethylene alkylate ether with high water hardness is widely used. The sulfonated oil and soap have medium wettability, excellent descaling ability and solubilization tendency.
