The main components of the paint are as follows:
(1) oil: including dry oil and semi dry oil, which is one of the main film-forming substances.
(2) resin: including natural resin and artificial resin, which is also a part of main film-forming substances.

The components of decorative coating are mainly composed of three parts:
Main film-forming materials: also known as adhesives and binders, are the basis of coating composition.

Auxiliary film forming materials: including solvents and auxiliary materials. The former is like gasoline, tobacco, pine perfume, benzene, ethyl acetate, etc. the latter includes curing agent, emulsifier, tackifier, drier, wetting agent, dispersant, defoamer, initiator, catalyst, stabilizer, antiaging agent and antifreeze. Paint containing formaldehyde and benzene are toxic and volatile.
