In sewage treatment, the foam prone environment is mainly the biological aeration tank and the sewage outlet. Sewage contains a lot of surface activity, because of the bubbling of gas in the biological aeration tank produces foam. The defoamers used in biological aeration tank should not affect the activity of bacteria in activated sludge, and should use non-silicon or less silicon defoamers as far as possible. The foaming of the outlet is caused by the impact of the water flow, which is relatively easy to eliminate. The requirement of the product is mainly concerned with the best choice of defoaming, and the high efficiency silicone product has fast foam breaking speed and better foam control effect.
