3.2.3.3 anionic polysiloxane surfactant
Anionic organosilicon surfactants include carboxylic acid, sulfonic acid, sulfuric acid ester and phosphate ester, which can be obtained by hydrosilylation reaction of corresponding ester with unsaturated bond and hydrosilicone oil, and can also be converted by epoxy intermediate. Organosilicon phosphate surfactant is the most common. The product is made by phosphorylation of siloxane alcohol, neutralization and refining as required. Polysiloxane phosphate not only has the emulsification, foaming and mild washing properties of phosphate group, but also has the non-ionic properties such as the cloud point of polyether, and also has the affinity of polysiloxane to skin and hair. It can be used as high-efficiency w / O emulsifier, solubilizer, water-soluble foaming agent, detergent, emollient and hair conditioner of cosmetics. Polysiloxane phosphate surfactants have emulsifying properties and wetting functions, which are mainly used in skin care products and conditioning hair care products. In hair care products, phosphate can delay the accumulation of static electricity and accelerate the discharge. Polysiloxane has good affinity and conditioning for skin and hair, so it can improve the dry and wet combing of hair.
3.3 application of powder treatment agent in cosmetics
In order to further improve the properties of the powder, DPMS (dimethylpolysiloxane) with high molecular weight is currently used to treat the surface of the powder. The powder has excellent hydrophobicity and high durability, good cosmetic face, good skin adhesion, moderate viscosity and good usability. A new powder treatment method has been developed in recent years. The new method is to contact cyclomethylhydropolysiloxane with powder under 100 ℃ under normal pressure. Because of the catalytic activity on the surface of the powder, it can produce polymerization reaction and form network polymer. As a result, a super thin film is formed on the surface of the powder, which can be introduced into the functional group by addition reaction. If the introduced functional group is alkyl group, hydrophobic powder will be formed; if it is hydroxy group and polyoxyethylene group, hydrophilic powder will be formed.
4. Conclusion
In the future, the application trend of organosilicon materials in cosmetics will take hair cosmetics as the main goal, especially in the direction of hair care film, two in one shampoo and sanitary products. In addition to maintaining the original excellent properties, the new organosilicon developed in the future must have additional features, such as Film formability, conditioning, moisturizing effect, UV absorption capacity and other new functions.
Relevant data show that the development speed of China's personal care market is one of the fastest regions in the world. The annual growth rate from 1997 to 2006 was more than 10%. By 2015, China became the second largest personal care market in the world. Organosilicon appears in the form of liquid, emulsion, resin, wax and mixture, so it is an important functional component of personal care products. It can be seen that the application prospect of organosilicon products in personal care products is bright. With the development of fine chemicals industry, the market of personal care products will become larger and larger, and the organosilicon products will be further developed, with more and more varieties and wider application range. In the daily chemical industry, silicone is mainly used for its non-toxic, mild, soft and smooth performance.
However, compared with foreign countries, the domestic research on the application of organosilicon products in cosmetics is not deep enough. It is unanimously commented at home and abroad that the application field of organosilicon surfactants is far from open. Looking for new surfactants with high efficiency and green has always been the leading direction of the development of silicone surfactants. From its molecular structure, the synthesis of new silicone surfactants with high efficiency and easy biodegradation has more important theoretical and practical significance.
In a word, the application of organosilicon in cosmetics is on the rise. It is believed that in the future, the use of organosilicon materials in cosmetics and skin care products will become more and more common.
