For general organic compounds, their spreading coefficient is very small and their chemical properties are inert, so pure silicone oil can not be used as defoamer, but after emulsifying it to form silicone defoamer, it can spread quickly on the surface of the solution, and many good defoaming effects can be achieved with less amount.


We make a little supplement to the defoaming principle of silicone defoamer: as polyether itself has certain defoaming and anti foaming ability, it is regarded as a synergist of silicone emulsion, and can produce synergistic effect with silicone emulsion, so that its defoaming effect will be nearly doubled in the original silicone emulsion.
