Inventory stratification is remarkably distinct: manufacturers hold abundant stocks of generic industrial precipitated silica with strong shipping willingness and generous discounts for bulk orders. Steady downstream consumption keeps inventories of high-dispersity precipitated silica and fumed silica at chronically low levels, slightly extending delivery cycles. Restricted by international shipping schedules and capacity adjustments of overseas giants, imported premium fumed silica arrives in modest and stable volumes, sustaining a tight supply-demand balance.

Mutually regulated domestic and overseas demand enables the industry to navigate the summer inventory destocking cycle smoothly.
Forecasts from professional chemical monitoring institutions indicate that industrial inventory destocking will continue in late August. Generic precipitated silica will remain under downward pressure with flexible negotiation margins. Supported by dual drivers of domestic rigid demand and overseas exports alongside tight supply, premium fumed silica will maintain stable and firm prices. After September, temperatures will drop, ushering in the traditional peak season for tires and architectural coatings. Concentrated downstream restocking coupled with sustained thriving exports will gradually reduce inventories across all silica grades, paving the way for an overall market recovery.
