Printing and dyeing pretreatment agent


Printing and dyeing pretreatment process includes fibre singeing, desizing, cooking, bleaching, mercerizing and other processing processes. It needs to add penetrating agent, emulsifier, cleaning agent and other surfactants, mainly organic sulfate, sulfonate and polyoxyethylene ether.


Infiltrating agent, wetting agent and commonly used penetrating agent in textile industry are sulfate of butyl castor oleate, sodium butyl naphthalene sulfonate, etc.


In neutral solution, sodium dioctyl succinate sulfonate has strong penetration ability; in acidic solution, aliphatic alcohol polyoxyethylene ether or alkyl phenol polyoxyethylene ether are commonly used, while in strong alkaline solution, shorter carbon chain sulfates such as octyl alcohol sulfate are used in mercerizing process.


Emulsifier is often oiled in the textile process to improve the lubricity of silk and yarn. But before printing and dyeing, oil should be removed to avoid affecting dyeing, so in these textile oils, emulsifiers should be added beforehand, or emulsifiers should be added in the cleaning bath to ensure the removal of oil spots, generally using non-ionic surfactants.


Cleaners, namely detergents and detergents, remove oil stains from textiles. In the past, soap was the main detergent. Now, synthetic detergents and non-ionic surfactants are used, including oleic amide derivatives with a slightly higher price.


In addition, there are enzymes used to promote starch hydrolysis during desizing and activators and corrosion inhibitors added during bleaching to accelerate bleaching process and increase whiteness without corrosing equipment. At present, it has been developed to desizing, boiling and bleaching in one bath, and the new composite strong cleaning aids have been adopted.
