In the past half of the semester, the most concerned questions of teachers have changed from "how to build lesson recording", "how to sign in for discussion", "how to communicate effectively with students" to "how to improve the quality of this teaching method", "how to evaluate the learning effect of students", "how to conduct effective assessment on students" Based on the feedback from the online teaching salon and workshop in the early stage, the teacher (Teaching) development center is very honored to invite Mr. Ma Zhiqiang from Jiangnan University to share "online formative teaching evaluation design and implementation" with us.
Mr. Ma Zhiqiang is a doctor of educational technology, a young and excellent scholar of Social Sciences in Jiangsu Province. He has published more than 40 papers on SSCI and CSSCI. He has twice presided over the National Social Sciences Fund. He has rich experience in teaching, especially online teaching and teaching evaluation, and has formed theoretical achievements with characteristics. In the early stage, he has shared in China Pharmaceutical University, Jiangsu Police Academy and other universities, and received unanimous praise from teachers.
At the beginning of the activity, Mr. Liu Ying, director of the teacher teaching development center, explained the purpose and original intention of the activity for you, and introduced Mr. Ma's research background. As a senior teacher with rich teaching experience and more than ten years of background in educational technology research, the content shared by Mr. Ma must be full of dry goods and is expected. Combined with the characteristics of the difficulty of focusing on online lectures for a long time, Mr. Ma's lectures are always in the process of continuous questions and answers. What is the difference between online evaluation and face-to-face evaluation? Why to evaluate? What's your comment? How do you comment? Then, in the process of raising questions and answering questions, Mr. Ma introduced the concept of formative assessment, and combed the process and key points of formative assessment. He pointed out that the most important significance of formative assessment is not to grade students, but to improve teachers and students' teaching and learning with the results of assessment. After that, Mr. Ma introduced three different evaluation scenarios, before, during and after class. The evaluation of learning behavior as a more characteristic way of evaluation, Mr. Ma also gave a detailed explanation. Finally, facing the evaluation of learning results, Mr. Ma introduces two methods and makes an in-depth introduction and analysis of peer mutual evaluation, a very meaningful evaluation method for online teaching.

In the whole training process, Mr. Ma Zhiqiang and the participating teachers kept many interactions. Not only did everyone ask questions in the message area of the live broadcast room, but Mr. Ma also arranged tasks for group discussion by random grouping. This special training not only introduced formative assessment, but also carried out the concept of formative assessment throughout.
