On the morning of April 24, pan Qingwei, Secretary of the Party committee of the school of chemistry and materials engineering, Jiangnan University, Dong Weifu, President, Dong Yuming, vice president, and Ding Yuqiang, member of the Education Steering Committee, visited the park for exchange and inspection, and held a symposium. Zhang Dazhi, deputy director of the Management Committee of the Environmental Science Park and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Xinjie street, attended the forum.
The school of chemical engineering of Jiangnan University has many platform bases, such as Key Laboratory of the Ministry of education, national international joint research center, subject innovation and intelligence introduction plan of colleges and universities, and Jiangsu Engineering Technology Research Center. In the fourth round of national first level discipline evaluation organized by the Ministry of education, chemical engineering and technology ranked B + (top 10-20%), and the supported disciplines of chemistry and material science ranked 0.3% and 0.7% respectively in the global ESI ranking. The key scientific research and achievements of the college include the advanced treatment technology of wastewater represented by catalytic ozonation, the pretreatment and treatment technology of refractory organic wastewater represented by advanced oxidation, the separation technology of organic pollutants represented by membrane separation and pore material adsorption, the process optimization and efficiency improvement of traditional flocculation and Fenton oxidation process, the analysis of solid waste components and the accurate transformation and utilization Significant projects.
At the symposium, Qin Shaoqing, director of science and Technology Bureau of the park, and Zhang Li, deputy director, introduced the current situation and needs of environmental protection enterprises in the park in detail. Zhang Dazhi expressed a warm welcome to the school of chemical engineering of Jiangnan University, and hoped that Jiangnan University could make full use of the resource advantages of the park platform, carry out closer exchanges and cooperation with environmental protection enterprises, and jointly make suggestions for the high-quality development of environmental protection industry.
