Professor Feng Peizhong and his party had a discussion and docking with the Management Committee of the laser Optoelectronic Industrial Park and enterprises in the park, visited the Huaihai branch of the national laser engineering center, and conducted in-depth research on enterprises in the park, such as Huake Chuangzhi, Wofei laser and Huagong laser.
At the symposium, Xue Rui, deputy director of the Management Committee of the park, introduced the construction of the park in detail; the participating enterprises reported their actual situation and technical problems; Professor Shen Xiaopeng, School of materials and physics, China University of mining, made a special speech on the application of metamaterials in the field of photoelectric information; Professor Feng Peizhong recorded the technical requirements of each enterprise in detail, and combined with the professional direction of the college And the field of teachers' scientific research has been carefully combed, and the ideas on the entry point of relevant scientific research cooperation have been put forward. It is clearly stated that the cooperation between the laser Optoelectronic Industrial Park and the school of materials and physics of China University of mining and technology will be further promoted, and the construction of Suqian sub center of technology transfer center of China University of mining and technology and off campus practice base of China University of mining and technology will be fully supported.
In September 2017, China University of mining and technology established "off campus practice base of China University of mining and technology" in Suqian laser optoelectronics Industrial Park, receiving nearly 300 students majoring in material science and engineering, optoelectronic information science and engineering for practice every year.
In August 2019, China University of mining and technology and Suqian District People's Government of Suqian City signed and unveiled an agreement to jointly build "Suqian sub center of technology transfer center of China University of mining and technology", the main purpose of which is to tap the potential of scientific and technological achievements transformation of China University of mining and technology, broaden the channels of achievements transformation, serve and promote local economic development by integrating resources.
