Notice of adjustment and opening
According to the arrangement of the notice on the time for teachers and students to return to school (emergency No. 10) issued by the emergency management leading group of Jiangnan University, the library and archives will be opened in order from April 23. In order to further prevent and control the epidemic situation, the detailed rules for the adjustment and opening are hereby notified as follows:
One
Open area
1. Opening: general service desk, internal reading seats on the first to fifth floors of area C, and electronic reading room on the fourth floor of area a (excluding cook music machine area).
2. Suspension: self study room (A1, A2, a210, A310) in Zone A, multi person seminar room in zone B, study room in Zone C, intensive library, back issue library, book drift corner and free reading area on each floor.
Two
Opening Hours
1. Monday to Saturday, 8:00-11:30, 13:00-16:30.
2. Closed at night and weekends.
Three
Readers enter the library
1. For the time being, the library building is only open to the east gate, and the north gate, the west gate and the south gate are closed. The opening time is 8:00-17:00.
2. The reader shall wear a mask and take his campus card to the hall on the first floor of the library to reserve a seat. 1050 seats are provided in the E-reading room of zone a and the reading area of Zone C in the morning and afternoon respectively. Readers can enter the library by swiping the campus card with the seat reservation information.
3. Readers enter area C through two entrances on the first floor (C1) and the fifth floor (C5) of area C. the entrances from the second floor to the fourth floor (C2-C4) of area C are temporarily closed and seats are reserved.

Book borrowing
1. Encourage readers to use electronic database resources, suspend the lending of all paper books, and only provide them for reading in the library.
2. All returned books are processed by 24-hour self-service book returning machine, and the staff will sterilize the returned books with ultraviolet light before returning them to shelves.

Scientific research service
1. The business work of the novelty search station adopts the method of online reservation application and offline fixed time receiving report.
2. Subject service and resource construction make full use of subject service platform, office software, e-mail and other ways to provide online consulting services.

Other
1. The translation of student status materials, student status certification and file checking of the archives are carried out normally.
2. Suspend all academic lectures and student activities, and carry out activities in the form of online lecture hall and MOOC.
3. During the period of epidemic prevention and control, the library will meet the needs of readers in various ways. Please pay attention to the home page of the library and the relevant notices and instructions of the official micro website.
4. Please actively cooperate with the readers to do a good job of health and epidemic prevention during their stay in the library. Readers who do not comply with the regulations will be advised to leave and dealt with according to the relevant regulations of school epidemic prevention.
