College introduction
Founded in June 2012, Wuxi Medical College of Jiangnan University is jointly established by Wuxi Municipal government and Jiangnan University. The school of medical college dates back to the original Department of medical science of Jiangnan University, which was founded in 1985. It has successively established medical (clinical), anesthesiology, Radiology, imaging, nursing and other majors.
There are four first-class master's degree programs in clinical medicine, public health and preventive medicine, nursing and nursing, and second-class doctor's degree programs in foodborne chronic diseases. There is one affiliated hospital directly under the central government, with 55 full-time teachers, including 9 professors and 26 associate professors. 95% of the teachers have doctoral degrees and 49% have overseas study or work experience. 226 clinical medical teachers were transferred to affiliated hospitals, including 82 professors and 65 associate professors. 5 visiting professors will be appointed. There are 10 doctoral supervisors and 104 master supervisors in total.
The college has scientific research platforms such as Key Laboratory of food borne chronic diseases, Wuxi transformation medical center, engineering research center of the Ministry of education of wound healing technology, as well as "double first-class" discipline team and 15 scientific research teams for prevention and intervention of food and metabolic syndrome. In 2014-2019, it undertook 221 provincial and ministerial level and above scientific research projects, such as national key R & D plan, National Natural Science Fund (major cultivation, excellent youth science fund, general, youth), Jiangsu Natural Science Fund outstanding youth fund. Since 2018, clinical medicine discipline has been in the top 1 of ESI global rankings for two consecutive years.
Dispensing information
Wuxi Medical College of Jiangnan University plans to receive the following professional adjustments: full-time clinical medicine, public health and preventive medicine, pharmacology and full-time nursing master and part-time nursing master in 2020. In principle, it is not allowed to apply for the examination across disciplines. You are welcome to apply for the examination.
