On the afternoon of April 8th, the school of architecture and design of China University of Mining and Technology held a series of activities of "Dandelion plan - online forum for excellent alumni of Music Department" in an online way. The forum invited four graduates to share and exchange from study, life, employment and going abroad. Fan Shaowei, deputy secretary of the Party committee of the school of design, Liu Zhen, director of the music department, Zhu Wen, Secretary of the Party branch of the music department, Guo Liwan, counselor, and all undergraduates of the music department attended the forum, which was hosted by Zhu Wen, Secretary of the party branch of the music department.
At the meeting, the four alumni shared their experiences on four different perspectives. "There are tens of thousands of ways to get employed, and only those who are suitable for themselves are the best." Hu Zhiyuan, 2017's graduate, set out from two ways: entrepreneurship development and taking the teacher preparation examination, explained the precautions for the horizontal development of music graduates in a simplified language. Li Wei, a 2011 graduate, stage director and founder of yishanlin culture and Communication Co., Ltd., shared his work experience in the National Grand Theatre from the perspective of "Discussion on the entrepreneurial direction of music graduates", and analyzed the entrepreneurial environment at home and abroad, hoping that students could seize the opportunity of learning in school, learn more about design, photography, management and other related professional knowledge, and understand Market conditions. Zhang Xiajing, a 2012 graduate and chairman of Hailan group's Federation of literary and art circles, shares her experience with the theme of "how to apply music knowledge and skills to the work of enterprises". She encourages students to accumulate more experience and make full use of their fragmented time to learn and plan for the future. Tao Hongyi, 2016 graduate, master of Melbourne University and special researcher of Australian research center of China University of mining and technology, made a speech at the end of the speech, sharing the ideas of studying abroad application and overseas development around "experience discussion of music graduates going abroad". After the sharing, the students had a positive and warm exchange and discussion with the four elders.
