Volunteer Registration
Volunteers are an integral part of the Olympic team, and the world will remember your smile and service. Beijing is making history and will become the world's first Olympic city. To participate in the writing of this exciting new chapter of Olympic history and become a volunteer of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games will be something worth remembering in my life. According to the arrangement of the Organizing Committee of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games, we are now recruiting volunteers for the Winter Olympic Games and Paralympic Games for our teachers and students.
Please read this volunteer application strategy carefully!
The 24th Winter Olympic Games and the 13th winter Paralympic Games will be jointly held in Beijing and Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province from February 4 to 20, 2022 and March 4 to 13, 2022, respectively.
Volunteer service time
Generally, the time for volunteers to work in the competition venues is from 7 days before the competition to 3 days after the competition (1 day after the Winter Paralympics).
The time for volunteers to work in non competition venues, training venues, other venues and facilities is generally 7 days before the official opening of relevant venues, venues and facilities to 3 days after the closing (1 day after the closing of Winter Paralympics).
For the volunteers in special positions, they can flexibly arrange the working time.
During the match time, the daily service time of the match volunteers is generally no more than 8 hours. For continuous service for more than one day, compensatory leave can be arranged.
Volunteers who have been serving outside for a long time can be changed according to the situation.
Venue of volunteer service
The opening and closing ceremonies of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games and Paralympic Games as well as various competition sites are distributed in Beijing, Yanqing, Zhangjiakou and other places and facilities.
Conditions for application of volunteers for 2022 Winter Olympics and Paralympics
（1） Those who meet the following basic conditions can apply for volunteer
1. Abide by Chinese laws and regulations, voluntarily provide volunteer services for the Beijing Winter Olympic Games and Paralympic Games, and accept the work guidance and management of the Beijing Winter Olympic Organizing Committee;
2. Have reached the age of 18 as of January 1, 2022 (i.e. born on or before January 1, 2004), and have the physical conditions and health quality required for voluntary service;
3. Have the basic knowledge and skills required for volunteer service posts;
4. Be able to communicate in Chinese or English;
5. Be able to participate in pre competition training carefully and provide volunteer services to meet the needs of Beijing Winter Olympic Games or Paralympic Games.
（2） Applicants who meet one of the following conditions can be employed preferentially under the same circumstances
1. Be able to participate in the volunteer service of "meet Beijing" series winter sports events;
2. Be able to provide volunteer services for both the Beijing Winter Olympics and the Paralympics;
3. Have certain professional knowledge and skills, including but not limited to: oral and written translation services, medical services, driving services, information technology support, etc;
4. Other personnel in urgent need of operation support during the games.

2. From February to April 2022, our school's on-the-job teachers and officially registered students
（3） Registration process
1. Click "read the original" or scan the small program code below to obtain and fill in the "forecast list of group volunteers of China University of mining and Technology (Beijing) for the 2022 Winter Olympics and Paralympics in Beijing" (hereinafter referred to as "forecast list").
2. From April 5 to April 8, at 17:00 every day, the Youth League Committee of the university will summarize the information of the predicted teachers and students of each college and send it to the Youth League Committee of each college. The Youth League Committee of each college will conduct qualification examination on the predicted volunteers of the College. After passing the examination, the Youth League Committee of the college can send the invitation code of group enrollment of our school.
3. After receiving the invitation code for group registration, the registered volunteers must log in to the volunteer recruitment website of Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games and winter Paralympic Games (website: https://vol.beijing2022.cn) from 10:00, April 6, 2020 to 24:00, April 10, 2020, register and fill in the relevant information, and fill in the invitation code for group registration of our school at the designated location (invitation code column). The system displays that after the submission is successful, the registration is completed.

4. Teachers and students who meet the requirements of group volunteer registration, but have submitted individual application on the recruitment website, do not need to register again after cancellation. Just click "modify information" - "ability and experience" - "invitation code" on the personal homepage after the name of the forecast is approved, and change it to our school's group registration invitation code.
Matters needing attention
1. The forecast name form can only be filled in once and cannot be modified after filling in.
2. The group invitation code of our university is only used by teachers and students who meet the requirements of group volunteer application. The League Committee of each college shall keep it confidential and strictly prohibit external transmission. Those who violate the code shall be disqualified from group application and shall be investigated for responsibility.
3. The applicants who participate in the group volunteer application must log in to the volunteer recruitment website of Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games and winter Paralympic Games within the specified time (10:00 on April 6, 2020 - 24:00 on April 10, 2020) with our school's group invitation code to complete the application, otherwise, the invitation code will be invalid.
4. The applicant is requested to fill in all the application contents carefully and completely, and be responsible for the authenticity of the information filled in, including but not limited to the information such as certification materials, language level, volunteer service experience, etc., and the consequences caused by the wrong filling in will be borne by the volunteer himself.
Individual Volunteer Registration
1. Registration time on the official website of individual volunteers: 24:00 from December 5, 2019 to June 30, 2021;
2. Meet the recruitment conditions, unable to ensure that from February to April 2022, on-the-job teachers and officially registered students in our school can apply for individual volunteers;
3. Log in to the volunteer recruitment website of Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games and winter Paralympic Games on the strength of personal valid identity documents, including but not limited to: resident identity card of the people's Republic of China, passport, Hong Kong and Macao resident's mainland travel pass, Taiwan resident's mainland travel pass, etc Https://vol.beijing2022.cn, register with your real name, fill in your personal information correctly and submit it online according to the online registration prompt;

Selection and employment procedures
（1） Qualification review. The Beijing Winter Olympic Organizing Committee and its authorized or entrusted organizations shall examine the qualification conditions of the volunteer applicants for the games.
（2） Test selection. The Beijing Winter Olympic Organizing Committee and its authorized or entrusted organizations shall select the best volunteers for the competition by means of on-site test and remote test.
（3） Post pre allocation. While fully considering the personal wishes of the volunteer applicants for the games, the Beijing Winter Olympic Organizing Committee and its authorized or entrusted organizations shall allocate service posts, make clear the time of arrival, and communicate with the applicants themselves.
（4） Employment. The Beijing Organizing Committee for the Winter Olympic Games has issued a letter of employment to those who have been confirmed as volunteers for the games. The recruitment of volunteers will be completed by September 30, 2021.
（5） On duty service. With the employment notice and personal valid ID card, the volunteers of the competition will take part in the pre competition training, sign the letter of commitment for voluntary service, register and receive uniforms and other materials at the designated time and place, and then go on duty to provide voluntary service.
Corresponding guarantee of volunteers
1. According to the regulations of the people's Republic of China on voluntary service, the Beijing Winter Olympic Organizing Committee will clarify the rights and obligations of the volunteers in the games, and clarify them through the form of voluntary service commitment.
2. BOCOG will respect and treat the volunteers, safeguard their legitimate rights and interests according to law, and provide them with uniform and humanized service guarantee measures.
3. The venue operation teams of the Beijing Winter Olympic Organizing Committee shall formulate the schedule of volunteers for the games, and the volunteers for the Games shall serve according to the schedule.
4. The Beijing Organizing Committee for the Winter Olympic Games shall establish and improve the management system for the volunteers of the games, and commend the excellent volunteers of the games.
