On the afternoon of March 24, the fourth meeting of the Third Council of education development foundation of China University of mining and technology was held in B301 conference room of Xingjian building. Liu Bo, Secretary of the CPC Committee and President of the education development foundation, Li Qiang, vice president and vice president of the education development foundation and other directors and supervisors of the Third Council of the education development foundation attended the meeting. The first stage of the conference was presided over by Wang Zhi, Deputy Secretary General of the education development foundation and deputy director of the foreign cooperation and development division, while the second stage was presided over by Zhong Xiaodong, new secretary general of the education development foundation and director of the foreign cooperation and development division.
At the meeting, secretary Liu Bo commented on the work of the foundation in 2019 and put forward requirements for the future work of the foundation. She said that in the new situation, the education foundation should focus on the development strategy and central work of the University, emancipate the mind, expand the financing channels, tell the story of the University of mines, and improve the soft power of the University; focus on the fundamental task of cultivating people by virtue, give full play to the University's cultural inheritance and innovation function, and do a good job in the integration and development with charity culture and public welfare culture on the basis of strengthening the University's cultural construction; do a good job in donation The whole process of donation project management, closely follow up the status of donation funds in place, and conscientiously do a good job in the operation, supervision and feedback of donation funds.
Vice President Li Qiang put forward specific requirements on the standardized operation of the foundation and the creation of donation joint forces, especially on the standardization of meeting minutes, the completion of decision-making procedures, the mobilization of the enthusiasm of secondary units, and the creation and promotion of brand projects.
The meeting deliberated and approved the changes of some directors and supervisors of the third board of directors, the 2019 work report, 2020 work plan and budget and final accounts report of the foundation. The attending directors and supervisors also made active suggestions and suggestions on the relevant issues faced by the development of the foundation.
