[Abstract] electrical impedance imaging (EIT) is a safe, non-invasive and low-cost functional imaging technology that emerged in the 1980s. In this study, we developed a micro EIT system for quantitative imaging and detection of three-dimensional cell culture process, and realized the imaging of breast cancer cells by using artificial intelligence algorithms such as deep learning. This method is also of great significance for the early detection of malignant tumors, effective treatment, and help to judge the prognosis and survival of patients.
[brief introduction of lecturer] Dr. Jia Jiabin received his Ph.D. from the University of Leeds in 2010. Now he is a senior lecturer in the school of engineering, University of Edinburgh, UK. His main research fields include process tomography, industrial multiphase flow monitoring, biomedical imaging, ultrasonic temperature and wind field imaging, and intelligent human-computer interaction. He has presided over and participated in a number of scientific research projects, and many scientific research achievements have been successfully industrialized. Now he is a senior member of IEEE and a member of British Higher Education Association. In 2019, he cooperated with China Southern Airlines to host the international cooperation project of National Natural Science and Royal Society; in 2019, he cooperated with China Southern Airlines to obtain the fourth batch of foreign expert studios in Jiangsu Province.

[speaker introduction] after graduating from Laval University in June 2000, Dr. Zhang Dan focused on the intersection of robotics and automation, advanced manufacturing technology, new high-performance robots and their applications, and applied high-performance robots to machine tools, medical equipment, MEMS, polishing, deburring and other industrial applications.
The main academic contributions are the innovation of parallel robot configuration, the modeling of kinematic statics and the optimization of operation performance. The designed robot has a wide range of applications in aviation, automobile, machine tools, coal mines and other special environments. He invented and manufactured the world's unique multi axis parallel robot machine tool with passive constraint chain, which has been widely concerned and praised by peers. This technology is known as "robot machine tool in the 21st century". The proposed fusion model and compensation technology of hinge installation error, lead screw execution error and random error are not only effectively applied in high-precision three DOF parallel machine tool, but also in five hung meter aperture spherical radio telescope (fast) This technology is used in 50m model research, which effectively improves the execution accuracy of feed fine tuning platform, realizes sub millimeter positioning accuracy, and enables fast to "keep improving".
He directed and cultivated 18 postdoctoral students, 20 doctoral students, 26 postgraduate students and 25 visiting scholars. He has published 187 papers in international journals, 166 papers in international conferences and 9 monographs.
