Silanol on the surface of white carbon black plays the role of improving the wettability of rubber and fabric, which is beneficial to the diffusion and penetration of rubber.
2.3 rubber shoes
As the main reinforcing filler, white carbon black is widely used in the production of rubber shoes, especially in transparent and translucent sole rubbers. In the sole formula, white carbon black can replace carbon black 100%. Therefore, the footwear industry has always been the largest user of silica in the rubber industry.
2.4 Wires and cables
Silicone rubber has excellent characteristics such as aging resistance, high and low temperature resistance, and electrical insulation properties. It is mostly used in the production of wire and cable products. Vapor phase method carbon black is generally only used for silicone rubber and some special products because of its high price and excellent reinforcing properties for silicone rubber.
2.5 Daily necessities
The good reinforcement properties of white carbon black and its unique advantages such as pure white and transparency make it widely used in rubber products in the fields of household appliances, sports goods, etc. Its nitrogen adsorption specific surface area can reach 269-320 m2 • g-1. When added to the rubber compound, it can make the rubber compound have good elongation performance, anti-ozone aging performance and color retention performance of dyes.
