The winners of Pure Beauty Awards 2019 were revealed at a rebel punk-themed ceremony last night hosted by TV presenter, actor and writer Layne Redman.
The awards, now in their 18th year, attracted a record number of entries from brands across every category, making for an exciting evening filled with anticipation.
With the standard of entries at an all time high, the Pure Beauty judging panel had the difficult task of narrowing down the shortlist, before the public cast their votes to decide the winners.
Pure Beauty’s Editor Lucy Tandon Copp said: “This year's Pure Beauty Awards epitomised everything I love about the industry. Top class brands launching innovative new products – and great company to carry the celebrations through the evening.
"Every win, from Highly Commended through to Gold, was thoroughly well-deserved, and it was a pleasure to honour all of your achievements at what was our biggest awards to date, with over 400 people in attendance.
"Congratulations once again to all of our winners, and I look forward to working with you and your brands over the coming year."
This year, eight new categories were introduced to reflect a shift in trends within the sector, including: Best New Beauty Supplement, Best New Beauty Accessory or Brush, Best New Wellness Product, Best New Inclusive Skin Care Product, Best New Inclusive Hair Product, Best New Inclusive Make-up Product, Best New Vegan Innovation and Best New Retailer’s Own Label Product.
