First, the emulsion should be fully mixed before use. Because the uneven emulsion will easily produce stratification, affecting the use of defoamer.           
Second, the organosilicon defoamer can be diluted when it is used, but the stability of the defoamer will decrease sharply when it is diluted. If stratification occurs, it is recommended to use thickener to dilute as much as possible when diluting. If the defoamer is diluted with water, please add water into the defoamer and stir slowly, and use up on the same day of thinning.           
Third, prevent frost. Organosilicon defoamer is sensitive to frost and high temperature, which is easy to be damaged. If the defoamer has been frozen, it must be carefully defrosted and tested before use.           
Fourth, long-term strong vibration or strong shear (such as using mechanical pump, homogenizer, etc.) or stirring will damage the stability of defoamer, so pay attention to the storage of silicone defoamer.
