In order to reduce the cost, improve some properties of waterborne polyurethane film-forming products, or combine the advantages of two or more polymers to make up for the disadvantages, the blends or copolymers can be prepared by blending or grafting.


The waterborne polyurethane silicone copolymer emulsion can be prepared by graft copolymerization of organosilicon and waterborne polyurethane and self emulsifying system. For example, through the reaction of dimethyldichlorosilane with diols containing EO links such as triethylene glycol, polyethylene glycol, etc., the hydroxyl terminated organosilicon oligomer is obtained, and then the waterborne organosilicon block polyurethane is prepared by random copolymerization with polyether glycol and TDI. Some people modified the block silicone resin containing PEG chain by preparing monoclosic isocyanate, and prepared the water-based reactive polyurethane modified silicone fabric finishing agent. After heat treatment, it can make the polysiloxane resin and fabric fiber produce chemical combination, and improve the water washing resistance of silicone finishing fabric. Organosilicon modified waterborne polyurethane can be used for leather top coating, such as dry and wet rubbing resistance, soft hand feel, strong leather sense, non-woven adhesive glue, paper and building surface moisture-proof coating, etc.


The polyurethane prepolymer containing carboxylate group was extended and emulsified in the water containing a small amount of amino silicone oil, and a stable silicone modified graft polyurethane emulsion was prepared. The surface of the polyurethane was enriched on the surface of the film, which had obvious surface modification effect on polyurethane material, and the water resistance of the film increased, but the physical property changed little.
