(2) polyether modified silicone oil
The molecular structure of polyether modified silicone oil is as follows:
Polyether polysiloxane copolymer is a non-ionic surfactant, commonly known as water-soluble silicone oil. It can be used as a plasticizer for wetting agents, emulsifiers, foam regulators, lubricants, fatliquors and hair resin, and is stable in pH1-12. The molecular structure of polyether modified silicone oil has hydrophobic group and hydrophilic group, so it has the characteristics of surfactant. It is widely used in foamed polyurethane foam, cosmetic raw materials, plastic additives, antifogging agents, fiber oil agents, fabric finishing agents, coating additives, defoamer and other fields. It is the largest type of reactive silicone oil in modified silicone oil.
(3) polymethylphenylsiloxane
Polymethylphenylsiloxane is a kind of colorless and transparent liquid with low viscosity, slightly volatile, high refractive index, easy to mix with alcohol and organic components. The molecular structure of poly (trimethylphenylsiloxane) is as follows:
Polymethylphenylsiloxane has good skin permeability, good skin feeling after use, can give skin softness, deepen hair color, and maintain natural luster. It can be mixed with aliphatic and aromatic solvents and many common cosmetic materials, such as beeswax, lanolin, mineral oil, paraffin and isopropyl myristate. Polymethylphenyl siloxane is a commonly used additive in cream, emulsion and sunscreen products because of its simple preparation method. It can be used as film forming agent for hair mask, hair conditioner and radiation resistant agent in sunscreen cream. It has become a matrix material widely used in hair cream and cream cosmetics.
(4) polycyclic siloxane
Polycyclic siloxane is a colorless, tasteless and non irritating volatile liquid with good luster, water resistance, softness and dryness. It is easy to emulsify (low viscosity). Poly (cyclic dimethylsiloxane) has a proper evaporation rate, which is lower than that of water and ethanol, so it has good dispersion and volatility. When it volatilizes, there is no cold sensation and residue on the skin. The molecular structure of poly (cyclic dimethylsiloxane) is as follows:
(5) amino modified silicone oil
Amino modified silicone oil is a kind of organosilicon compound which is made of polydimethylsiloxane in which the methyl is replaced by aminoalkyl. Its structural formula is as follows:
This kind of silicone oil with amino functional group is a very unique long-chain conditioner. This kind of silicone oil can improve the wettability and lubricity, has good compatibility with cationic and non-ionic emulsifiers, and has poor compatibility with anionic surfactants. They are often used in shampoo, conditioner, hair milk and other products in cosmetics, which can increase the luster, softness and carding of hair, improve the effect of hair fixation, and also easy to wash. Amino silicone oil is used in shampoo to prevent hair damage due to perm and dyeing.
(6) carboxy modified silicone oil
The structural formula of carboxy modified silicone oil is as follows:
Carboxy modified silicone oil is a light, transparent, viscous liquid with special smell. It belongs to non-ionic surfactant with very low surface tension.
(7) silicone emulsion
The shampoo system belongs to non emulsion system, so it is difficult to guarantee the stability of the product when silicone oil is directly used in the shampoo formula. Because of the hydrophobicity of silicone oil, it is difficult to disperse in water system, which limits its use in some aspects. By dispersing silicone oil emulsion in aqueous phase, O/W silicone oil emulsion is prepared, so that silicone oil can be conveniently applied to shampoo.
