Silicone provides the airtight seal and fabric strength in the air bag, helps the air bag inflate under the precise time and pressure, improves safety and reduces traffic accident mortality


Organosilicon is resistant to high temperature, salt and rain water, so it can be used to protect and isolate engine parts and improve the safety of vehicles within the service life


In new energy vehicles, organosilicon is used for the packaging of the whole battery pack, which plays a role of stability, anti vibration, heat dissipation, water and dust prevention. In addition, organosilicon is also used for adhesion and position fixation of power battery units, and thermal management of lithium batteries


In 2018, the production and sales volume of China's new energy vehicles reached 1.27 million and 1.25 million respectively, and the car ownership exceeded 1.8 million, accounting for more than 50% of the global market


By 2020, the production and sales volume of new energy vehicles in China is expected to reach 2 million
