Brief introduction of China University of mining and technology
China University of mining and technology is a national key university directly under the Ministry of education, a national "211 Project", "985 advantage discipline innovation platform project" and a national "double first-class" construction university. It is also a University jointly built by the Ministry of education, the people's Government of Jiangsu Province and the State Administration of work safety. It is also one of the five colleges and universities awarded the title of "national advanced employment unit" by the State Council.
The university has more than 60 undergraduate enrollment majors, covering science, engineering, literature, law, management, economy, art, sports and other disciplines, including 8 new engineering majors. As a multi-disciplinary research-oriented high-level university, in the 2017 fourth round of discipline evaluation by the Ministry of education, two disciplines of mining engineering, safety science and engineering were rated as a +, and two disciplines of Surveying and Mapping Science and technology, geological resources and geological engineering were rated as a -.
