On the evening of April 25, the 2020 "China Cup · taiku" graduation season clothing design competition "cloud event" was successfully held. The "cloud Festival" is guided by the Shanghai Central Radio and television station and the Organizing Committee of Shanghai Fashion week. Four guests sit in the main venue of the event and announce the results of the competition through the new media live broadcast of the guests outside the venue through multi window video connection. The winning student designers gain the opportunity of internship and employment in the relevant enterprises or studios through the competition platform.
The jury of this competition is composed of dozens of famous fashion designers, authoritative experts, famous scholars and artists at home and abroad. The awards selected in the competition include: one gold, one silver and one bronze award, one best sustainable development award, two best works award, one best international fashion award and one best Internet popularity award. These awards fully advocate the combination of bold and avant-garde design and sustainable development.
Fu Yanni from the school of design of Jiangnan University won the best excellent work award and Jin Yuyu won the best Internet popularity award. Jiangnan University has the largest number of winning students in this competition.
This "China Cup · taiku" cloud event is a cross-border discussion on new topics in the field of design by means of online live broadcast, providing a platform for graduates of fashion colleges to show themselves. These young future designers not only receive professional guidance, but also gain the attention of major brands in the fashion industry through the competition platform, further away from the fashion dream.
As a national, international and public welfare fashion design competition, "China Cup" has been held for more than 20 years. From 2018, the new "China Cup taiku" focuses on the new graduates, helping them realize the transition from learning to working track, and quickly becoming one of the most influential college students' design public benefit competition in China.
