In order to guide and encourage students to understand the digital literature resources of the library of China University of mining and technology, and to add vitality to the creation and dissemination of knowledge, the organizers of the 19th Reading Festival of China University of mining and technology, together with Shanghai Wanfang Data Co., Ltd. and the student union of China University of mining and technology, jointly organized the "2020 Wanfang Cup" short video information literacy competition. The specific notice is as follows:
Activity name: 2020 "Wanfang Cup" information literacy short video competition
Activity time: April 23 - June 23, 2020
Participants: college students of China University of mining and Technology (including undergraduate, master and doctor)
The content of this short video game is based on the Chinese and foreign databases such as Wanfang Data. The main content is the academic resource retrieval, document detection, thesis topic selection, intellectual property rights and Wanfang brand image, which are closely related to teachers and students. The short video should be healthy in mind, prominent in application and in line with the socialist core values. Let teachers and students show their talents and new ideas through short video. The number of participants in the production of each entry shall not exceed three, with a duration of 3-5 minutes. In principle, no more than two entries shall be submitted by each person or team.

Content of short video information literacy competition

Award method
1. The expert review committee will score and select the shortlisted works according to the competition requirements, work professionalism and content innovation;
2. The shortlisted works will be uploaded by the organizer to bilibeli platform, and online voting activities will be carried out simultaneously on the official wechat platform of the library, and the ranking results will be combined with video voting number and video content review. The number of votes accounted for 30% of the weight, and the score of content review meeting accounted for 70%;
3. It is strictly prohibited to swipe tickets and inject water. Once found, the competition qualification and prize evaluation will be cancelled immediately.
Activity requirements
1. Students participating in the activity must submit the application form and works at the same time. The application information and works information cannot be modified after submission. Please fill in and submit the relevant information carefully;
2. Students participating in the activity must join in the activity group for consultation and exchange at the time of enrollment, QQ group number: 325732662, notes at the time of enrollment: college + name + student number
3. the online registration is applied to the participants. The participants will log in the library website or the library's official account of WeChat to scan the "2020 Cup" information literacy short video contest "activity" linked to the two-dimensional code for registration.
4. No more than three people shall participate in the production of each work, and no more than two works shall be submitted by each person or team in principle, and they shall enjoy complete and independent intellectual property rights for the work, and have the right to use the work to participate in this activity;
5. Submit the horizontal video with 16:9 video format, MP4 and WebM are recommended, the video size is not more than 1G, the duration is within 3-5 minutes, and the resolution is 720p (1280 × 720) and above;
6. No illegal content shall be involved in the entries. All legal liabilities caused by the entries shall be borne by the participants independently;
7. Please use the format of name + work name + college information when the competitors upload their works;
8. The deadline for short video submission is June 8, 2020.
